ow
novocaine is some scary crap yo
i went to the dentist to get a filling today. it must be like the 4th time ive had novocaine (or whatever they use?) injected into me, and it still completely takes me by shock everytime. it starts slowly at first, when the numbness is just settling in. but then comes the unstoppable onslaught of relentless drooling. although it takes about some 2 or 3 odd minutes for the presence of drool to be actualized by the brain, but by then its too late cuz its already progress down ur chin and finally (various slurping noises).
dentists are some pretty scary people yo
well i guess its not the dentists, but what they do is really whats nerve wrenching.(literally?) and why is it that a huge hole needs to be drilled in the tooth before the filling is actually applied? Its amazing to sit there and watch fragments of your teeth fly out of your mouth like shrapnel from the dentist's drill, and not feel anything at all. ok so maybe i felt some pain, but just some. just a little..thats not supposed to happen is it? whatever. but its negligible compared to what you would be feeling without the anesthesia, so im not complaining. although i do have to point out that the value of the whole operation seemed questionable. my teeth did not hurt at all before i had the filling done, but now there is a nagging pain in the upper right region of my molars that comes and goes. well letsee
before filling (cavity-> hole) = no pain
after filling (hole is covered) = pain
one helluvalotta good that did.
and i forgot to mention that whenever i try to close my mouth only the one tooth on the top right side of my mouth with the filling comes into contact with the bottom teeth. the teeth on the left side are unable to create contact.
hi, my name is shang. i have an oversized filling.
so when im eating i am now unable to fully chew my food. coupled with the pain, makes eating quite a labor. and i used to so enjoy eating.
